Writing from GP....

Well, thought I would write a little note while Erin is napping from Gramma and Grampa's computer in GP. Here are a few new pics from today of Erin hanging out watching Dora with Grampa, as well as Erin helping out the ladies with the dishes at the Lowes. Also a pic of Brian trying to take a little catnap with Erin's blanket and baby... How sweet!! Haha! Well, I should go and watch the crazy thunderstorm and hail here....(and the boys are out golfing?? Silly men!!!)

Here are a couple pics of Erin reading some books to her baby. Reading is one of Erin's favorite things to do! Plus they are great to keep her occupied for long airplanes rides :) Also should mention that Erin is doing very well with her potty training over the past few weeks.... she is staying dry during her naps in the afternoon and getting up in the night to go pee.. not that Brian and I like getting up at 4am.. but we are very proud of her!!!!

Fun on the waterslide!

Well, the heat has been amazing here this summer!! I can't remember the last time we had so many days above plus 30!!! So with all this heat Erin has been making good use out of our sprinkler and her waterslide... So here are a few pics of Erin trying to cool off in all this heat... Hard to get her to come inside most days :) I also want to mention the abundance of dragonflies around here too!!!

To the Zoo...

Thought I would post some pics from our trip to the Edmonton Valley Zoo in June. As you can see Erin had lots of fun! She especially enjoyed the elephant show (as you can see Erin's elephant impression in one of the pics) as well as the train ride.... It was a tough day at the Zoo..... hence the long nap home in the car... :)

Trying to keep up....

Well, it's been awhile.... and Erin is quickly approaching 2 years old!!! Wow, time flies!! Hard to believe that 2 years have passed...I am still in shock.. Seems like yesterday she was just a little baby, but now she is running all over and talking all the time! Erin is doing very well with her talking, she was a little delayed but once she hit 19 months, her vocab really exploded! I stopped counting words once she hit about 70, but I am sure she can say over 200 different words now. Now we are just working on putting 2 words together, but I know it will come soon :)

Sorry for not keeeping up with this but I have made a deal with myself that I am going to post more entries and pics more regularly. It seems harder to keep in touch with friends and family especially when we don't see them for weeks or months at a time... so hopefully this can keep everyone updated :)
