Pumpkins!

Erin loves pumpkins!!! Whenever she sees them she always says " pumpkins....more pumpkins" pretty cute. Then she likes to count them all.... Tonight was time to carve the pumpkins for Halloween tomorrow. It was a little tricky to get Erin to stick her hand in the pumpkin to pull out the seeds and such... "yucky" and a funny look on her face, didn't seem like it was going to happen.. but then Mommy did it a few times and she thought it was fun. So Erin got nice and dirty... yes.. we stripped her down into just her panties... kind of a messy project but lots of fun at the same time! Can't wait for tomorrow! Should be lots of fun. We will just be heading out to our friends places for a few treats and visiting. Will post more pics in the next few days of the big event.

On another note, I had another doctor's appt today. Went well.... baby's heartbeat was around 154 beats/min and the doctor said my tummy is growing nicely :) Feeling much better now, just wish I could sleep through the night without having to go to the washroom.... I guess I won't be sleeping through the night for a long while yet.... :) Erin was quite happy at the appt because she got stickers and a halloween pencil... lucky girl! Anyways, off to bed.

Birthdays, birthdays, and more birthdays!

It has been a busy few past weekends full of birthday parties. Our first birthday party was for Gabriella Miller (Gina & Guy's little girl), who just turned 1 and then a costume halloween party for Jayce, (from our moms group)who just turned 2! Both were tons of fun and we think Erin had lots of fun at both.... as she can not stop talking about the parties :) Here are some pics of the birthday events...

Big Sister Erin

Yup, that's right.... Erin is going to be a big sister in April 2008! We are pretty excited and seems as though Erin is too :) She likes to point to my belly and say "baby"....too cute! Well I am now 13 weeks along and feeling much better than before.... still quite tired though. I do miss Erin's naptimes in the afternoon! My doctor's appt at 12 weeks, the baby's heartbeat was at 141beats/minute. I had an ultrasound done at 8 1/2 weeks and got to see the baby's heartbeat at 168beats/min. Pretty amazing! The ultrasound tech referred to the baby as looking like a "little puff wheat". I will try to post a picture of the ultrasound pic....

Fun in the leaves...

Well, we thought we would take advantage of all the leaves in Gramma Evans's yard this weekend before the snow starts to fly! Erin loves playing in the leaves... she had a fun time throwing the leaves up into the air. Too bad we don't have any trees in our own backyard yet... maybe next year :) Erin also had some fun with Uncle Mark (Evans) this weekend too. Erin really seems to enjoy "stealing your nose" game, she gets quite the kick out of it. As a packed full weekend, we also got to visit with Shawna and her daughter Reese as well as our other friend Jill. It was quite funny to watch the girls play together... Reese kept wanting to give Erin hugs and kisses but Erin didn't really know what to think and kept saying "no, no, no" and began to cry.... poor thing, but quite cute. Amazing to see how much Reese has grown into such a beautiful little girl, as she will be a big sister soon. As Shawna is ready to "pop" any minute to a new baby boy! We can't wait to meet him! I will post some pics as soon as I can. We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Today's photoshoot...

Here are a few pics of Erin from this morning. As you can see she loves playing with the mini pumpkins!

1,2,3....

Well, Erin keeps surprising us everyday! Last week Erin counted all the way to 10.... well, almost... she can't quite say seven. So if we say seven for her, she then continues to count to 10! So proud!!

Last weekend we also had Grandma and Grandpa Lowe come and visit. So here are a few pics from a walk in the valley. Also Erin's little table and chairs set finally came in, so Grandma and Grandpa picked them up and Daddy assembled it. Erin loves to sit and eat, color and serve tea with her babies at the table. Great gift! Thanks again!
